Faithful and Fit

The church has a lot of work to do to make a positive impact in the world which has been set before us by God.  Having a healthy heart and body will help us in our work.  Listed below are many opportunities to help you and your family with your fitness efforts. 

Fitness Playgroup – Come exercise with Esther while your kids play.  Come exercise even if you don’t have kids.  All are invited

Thursdays, 9:45 am – 10:30 am

June 8, 15, July 6, 20, Aug 3, 10

Cost: Free

Yoga – Our own Sherry Harter is working towards her Yoga certification and is offering a free class during the summer.  She has gone through 2 months training to become an instructor and loves how centered and balanced she has become since starting Yoga. 

Wednesdays, 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

June 7, 14, 21, July 12, 19, 26, Aug 2, 9

Cost: Free

Equipment Participants Need: Yoga mat, towel, water bottle, comfortable clothing but fitted shirt (People can get lost doing a downward dog with a t-shirt falling over their head.)

Tai Chi – Sherry Harter is a certified Tai Chi instructor

Tuesdays, 9:00 am – 9:45 am

June 6, 13. 20, July 11, 18, 25, Aug 1, 8
Cost: $15

Equipment Participants need: water bottle, loose, comfortable clothing. 

Bike Group – This group meets periodically throughout the summer. If interested, please contact Mark Blodgett,   to be added to the email list. 

Self Defense Class - Watch for details for this class in the beginning of August.
