Scheduled Events

Are you new to Knox or have you been a long-time member of this church? Are you looking for something to do to help within the church, or to get to know Knox people better? If so, we would like to invite and welcome you to come to a Presbyterian Women's event.

Circles

Circles at Knox are various groups of women who meet once per month, as they are able, to nourish their faith, each other, work on mission projects, perhaps do a Bible study and pray. We also donate a lot of our time and talent to the silent auction every fall. Circles are a good way to meet new people and become connected. Knox has several circles.

Women with very young children can attend the WOW Bible study on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. Childcare for children up to kindergarten age is provided. They also try to meet at other times. For more information on this group please contact Beth Burner at 630-978-8649.

Mary/Martha Circle All are welcome. Contact person is Ineke Pelella 630-357-3350.

Rachel-Rebekah Circle will meet on Tuesday, May 15, at 10:00 a.m. at Betty Hemmeter for a salad luncheon.  Please bring a salad to serve 6 persons.  Contact Rose Smilgys or Ruth Feightner with questions.

The Presbyterian Women's coordinating team meets on the first Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. at Knox.

Annual Flower Sale

Spring Luncheon

The annual Spring Luncheon will be on Wednesday, May 9, 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Our topic will be container gardening, so you won’t want to miss it! Please sign up in the Commons between services. Silent Auction

Anyone interested in serving on the Silent Auction Committee, please contact Leah Taylor.  In lieu of a big dinner auction, last year we had a silent auction in the church.  Presbyterian Women would like to thank Knox members and friends for their support and donations to the Silent Auction and Raffle. We raised $5,750.00 for local charities.
