Director/Associate Pastor of Youth & Young Adult Ministries
As one of the largest congregations in the Presbytery of Chicago, Knox is extremely blessed by our youth programs.  There are regularly 30 or more teens present at our Wednesday night Youth Group and our Sunday night Youth Group Bible Study.  Our Youth Pastor recently accepted a call to be a head of staff in Florida.  We are now searching for either an Associate Pastor OR Director of Youth & Young Adults.

The vision for our youth is to cultivate a community of young Christians who believe deeply that loving God, knowing Jesus, embracing the Spirit of love, compassion and forgiveness, and serving others are not just church doctrines—they are a way of life. We accomplish this through many programs and initiatives inside our walls and outside in the community.

We are looking for a spiritually mature leader who loves teaching the Word of God and imparting Christian morals and ethics in ways relevant to our youth.  Candidates may either be an ordained pastor within the PC(USA) or partner denomination OR non-ordained with comparable training and two-to-five years’ experience in Youth Ministry.

Communications Coordinator
The purpose of this position is to help tell our stories through various forms of print and social media and provide expertise on effective communication/marketing programs for both church-wide and ministry-specific messages.   This is accomplished in many ways including the use of our Knox website, social media, indoor and outdoor signage and a variety of printed communication.   This position is approximately 19 hours a week.   Full Job Description HERE

Media Coordinator
Our Media Coordinator helps to make our Sunday worship come alive for the congregation.  They are responsible for the media production including audio, visual and video capture for the Sunday morning services.  This position also coordinates with small group needs for audio and visual aids throughout the week, training and managing volunteers for on-site support.  This position is approximately 8 hours a week including Sunday mornings from 7:00 – 12noon.  Job description HERE
