I was born a child in Seattle, Washington and was drinking coffee, black no sugar, by 12 years old. Unfortunately, it would take another 12 years for my beard to begin to grow. During those years I was an active participant in my home church, Berean Bible Church, attending youth group through both Junior and Senior high.
Spurred on by the challenging lessons I was receiving as a youth, I attended Wheaton College in order to learn more about the Bible and Theology. During my 4 years of labor at Wheaton, I grew in my knowledge, not only of Scripture but of Physics as well. I also grew a beard. And with my newfound fur-lined face, I headed down south, to the best school, with the best school colors, in all of North Carolina, Duke University. While earning my Masters of Divinity I made time to attended nearly every home game of the Men’s Blue Devil basketball team and personally witnessed an at-home win over our rivals, the UNC. I am excited to join Knox Presbyterian and I look forward to working alongside the many staff and volunteers to further God’s kingdom among the youth and young adults!
