Program Information
Birth to Pre-K
Childcare & Nursery
Childcare is offered for children birth - 3 years old and is always available during Sunday Worship at 9 am & 10:30 am. Childcare can also be arranged for special events and programs in advance. Email Angel Seitz.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Come join with us for a week full of fun, fellowship and learning!! Each day we will start all together and then groups will rotate through; music, snack time, recreation, Bible story time, crafts, and movie time. The best thing about VBS is all the new friends your kids will make!! Contact Erin Hartman with questions. Check out our events page for this year's VBS.
K - Middle School
3rd Grade Bibles
Every year we present our 3rd Grade Class with their very own Bibles at the 10:30 am Worship Service. Third Graders are invited to stay for lunch with Erin Hartman. We will also have some activities to teach them about their new Bibles.
Kids in the Kitchen
Join us around the table! The kids of Knox, 46 & up, will provide meals throughout the year to help feed our congregation and the community around them. Groups and Missions we have cooked for: Hesed House, Go N Serve, Sisseton Family Mission trip, Teen Parent Connection, and Congregational Care.
G3 Middle School Fellowship
Middle School Ministry’s mission at Knox is to create a place where middle school students belong, to give them time and space to wrestle with what they believe, and to witness them become lifelong followers of Jesus Christ. We do this by offering a variety of fun, meaningful activities where students can connect with one another.

Family
Worshiping with Children
At Knox Presbyterian Church, we affirm that children are important members of our worshiping community and should feel that they belong to the church family.
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Luke 18:16 (NIV) We welcome everyone's presence!
Children participate in the worship services as:
- worshipers
- scripture readers at both the 9:00 am and the 10:30 am Worship Services.
- providing special music as individuals and as part of our Children’s Choirs.
- for children who want to stay in the Sanctuary for worship we have prepared worship bags & plenty of Children's Bibles to help keep them engaged.
Communion
Communion is the joyful feast of the people of God. This invitation includes children of all ages, although the time at which a child first takes communion is a family decision. We feel it is important to let children know that God loves them, and that they are members of God’s family. On Communion Sunday, we invite families to attend worship together. This takes place the 1st Sunday of the month.
