Knox Stewardship 2026

James 1:17
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights,
who does not change like shifting shadows.

Dear Knox Family, Every once in a while, Becca and I look around and pinch ourselves. “Are you kidding us?” we say. “We get to be the pastors of THIS place?” Even three years in, the kindness, humor, compassion, and deep faith of this place still surprises, moves, and touches us.
We see it...
We see it...
- on Sunday mornings, when old friends care for each other and new faces are welcomed warmly and genuinely.
- on Wednesday nights, when our building is jammed full of kids learning about Jesus and adults serving and learning.
- in a dedicated, unbelievably talented staff that not only gets along but genuinely cares for one another and seeks to follow Jesus together.
- in a church where people find, maybe for the first time, a loving, Spirit-filled, caring community -where lives are changed by Jesus.
Scripture tells us that “every good and perfect gift comes from God” (James 1.17). All the good stuff that’s happening at Knox—that’s not because of any one person, or any one group of people. It’s because of the Lord Jesus, who graciously allows us to be channels of his light and love. It’s a gift that we get to partner with him in his work.
We called our stewardship campaign”It’s All A Gift” because stewardship is, at its heart, not about what we do. It’s about what God has done. It’s about taking a minute to pause in our busy lives and contemplate what God has given to us in Jesus Christ. It may be a community of loving friends; it may be a visit in the hospital or a card in the mail during a hard time; it may be a hymn or song that stays with you long after Sunday worship. Whatever it is, it’s a reminder of God’s grace, how lavishly he gives to his children. As the saying goes, “you can’t out-give God!”
