Tim Sleep
ORGANIST
Tim began his organ career by playing for Sunday School services at an early age and has been playing for church services continually for over 50 years. He studied piano, organ and clarinet at North Central College earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education in 1970. He also holds a Master of Science Degree In Educational Administration from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois.
He has worked as a middle school band director and then as Principal of Crone Middle School until retirement in 2003. He currently serves as Naperville City Carillonneur, President of The Guild Of Carillonneurs In North America, and sits on the faculty of the North America Carillon School.
Tim plays the organ for the 9am service and keyboard with the Praise Band for the 10:30 service. In addition to playing for church services he can sometimes be heard playing for various occasions on a calliope that he purchased on eBay
